Delete Your Account
Request deletion of your NightOC account and associated data.
How to request account deletion
Send an email to hello@nightoc.com with the subject line "Delete My NightOC Account". We will process your request within 7 business days.
From the email address you used to register, or any email if you used anonymous sign-in.
Subject: Delete My NightOC Account. In the body, include either (a) the email address used to register, or (b) your in-app User ID, found under Settings → About → User ID.
We will reply within 7 business days to confirm receipt. Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the confirmation email.
What gets deleted
Upon deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days:
- Your account record (email, nickname, avatar choice, User ID)
- All comments you have posted
- All bookmarked articles
- Your reading history (articles viewed, likes, dislikes)
- In-app messages sent to or from your account
- Any reports you have submitted
What is kept and why

| Aggregated statistics (e.g., total view counts on articles) | Indefinitely, but de-identified | Cannot be linked back to you after deletion. |

如何申请删除账号
请发送邮件至 hello@nightoc.com，主题填写 "删除我的不夜橙账号"。我们将在 7 个工作日内处理您的请求。
使用您注册时绑定的邮箱（匿名注册用户可使用任意邮箱发起请求）。
邮件主题：删除我的不夜橙账号。正文请提供以下二者之一：(a) 注册时绑定的邮箱地址；(b) App 内的用户 ID，可在【设置 → 关于 → 用户 ID】查看。
我们将在 7 个工作日内回复确认收到您的申请。账号及个人数据将在确认邮件发出后 30 天内被永久删除。
哪些数据会被删除
删除请求生效后，以下数据将在 30 天内从我们的活跃系统中永久移除：
- 账号本身（邮箱、昵称、头像选择、用户 ID）
- 您发布的所有评论
- 您收藏的所有文章
- 您的浏览记录（阅读过的文章、点赞、点踩）
- 账号相关的应用内消息
- 您提交过的举报记录
哪些数据会保留，以及原因
